As a school be believe in a family approach to education. We want children to be happy at school and believe the best way to achieve this is to involve parents and other family members in the life of the school and in learning for these young children. We believe that together we can make a difference.

We believe education is a Journey, not a destination. On that Journey each child finds their own path, a unique personalised journey which allows children to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to meet their full potential. Here at Bolsover Infant and Nursery we wish for all our children to reach their full potential and hope to offer help to children and parents to plan their learning Journey and support them in creating a happy, healthy and secure future.

Our mission is to create a nurturing, safe and thriving learning environment, built on strong relationships for our young people. A learning environment which is effective in developing kind hearts and inquisitive minds in an every changing world. Nourishing young children, who are happy, confident, compassionate and respectful, but also successful and astute to navigate lives challenges and aim for brilliance. We strive to give children a strong, healthy foundation for future success, which challenges inequality and aims to ensure positive education for all.
