Friends of Bolsover Infant and Nursery School 

Friends of Bolsover Infant and Nursery School is an organisation within schools, it is made up of parents, guardians, and sometimes other community members or alumni. The group is often focused on supporting the school in various ways, including:

1. Fundraising: Organizing events like bake sales, school fairs, and raffles to raise money for school resources, extracurricular activities, or special projects.

2. Community Building: Creating a strong sense of community among parents, teachers, and students through social events, meetings, and collaborative initiatives.

3. Volunteering: Assisting with school activities, helping in the classroom, or organizing events and outings.

4. Advocacy and Support: Providing a platform for parents to voice concerns, share ideas, and work with school administration to improve the overall educational experience.

5. Enhancing School Life: Supporting the development of school culture and student well-being by organizing extracurricular activities or contributing to projects like playground improvements or school garden initiatives.

Message from our Friends Group:

A warm welcome to our school community. We are the Friends of Bolsover Infant and Nursery School.  Our aim is to raise funds through various activities during the school year which then enables us to purchase equipment and WOW moments for our children. We get together for our meetings once every half term.

We are a friendly group and we always like to welcome new people to join us.

It really is money for nothing. You shop, we get the donations. We have made £539.00 (2023/24), by people shopping online through the app. It’s easy!

School Lottery

Friends of Bolsover Infant and Nursery have recently launched a new endeavour to continue to raise money to support our children in school. They have partnered with ‘ParentKind’ (a national Charity to support PFA’s) to launch our ‘Parent Lottery’. It’s easy to do, just follow the QR code, put in your details below for a weekly ticket or fil in the details and pay via direct debit and have a chance to win £25,000 a week! Good Luck everyone!
